Acceptance of Terms

By creating a Ranger account or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms govern the relationship between you (referred to as "Member") and Ranger Technologies, Inc. ("we," "us," "our," or "Ranger").

If you do not agree to these terms, do not create an account and do not use Ranger's services.

Service Description

Ranger provides personal identity protection services, including:

Services are provided in tiered levels (Free and Pro) with varying levels of coverage, monitoring frequency, and support. Your assigned Advisor is your dedicated Ranger specialist responsible for managing your protection and serving as your primary point of contact.

Authorization & Consent

By using Ranger's services, you explicitly authorize us to:

You confirm you are requesting investigation of your own identity, or that you have legal authority to request investigation on behalf of family members under our Family Protection plan.

You may revoke this authorization at any time by written notice to legal@tryranger.ai. Upon revocation, no further monitoring or investigation will occur.

Member Responsibilities

As a Ranger member, you agree to:

Fees & Payment

Ranger offers a Free plan with core features, and a Pro plan at $7.99/month or $59.99/year (equivalent to $4.99/month, billed annually). A 14-day free trial is included with the Pro plan.

Subscription services are billed monthly or annually as selected at sign-up. All fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law. You may cancel at any time; your access continues until the end of your current billing period.

Ranger reserves the right to adjust pricing with thirty (30) days advance written notice. Price adjustments do not apply retroactively to active billing cycles.

Confidentiality

All information contained in your Protection Report is private and shared exclusively with you. Your exposure assessment and protection recommendations are for your eyes only.

Advisor-member communications are confidential. We will not disclose your membership status or service tier to any third party without your explicit written consent.

Limited exceptions: We may disclose information if required by valid court order, law enforcement subpoena, or in cases where we believe disclosure is necessary to prevent imminent physical harm.

Intellectual Property

All Protection Reports, assessment methodologies, analytical tools, and operational processes are the exclusive intellectual property of Ranger Technologies, Inc. You receive a personal, non-transferable license to your Protection Report solely for your own protection purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, or share your report with third parties.

The "Ranger" name, logo, star badge, and all associated visual identity elements are the exclusive property of Ranger Technologies, Inc. and are protected under trademark law.

Limitation of Liability

Ranger provides identity protection analysis, monitoring, and recommendations. We do not guarantee absolute protection from all threats or complete prevention of exposure.

Specifically, we cannot guarantee:

Ranger is not liable for actions taken by third parties, including data brokers, hackers, or malicious actors; data breaches at third-party services; or indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

Our total aggregate liability for any and all claims is limited to the total fees you paid to Ranger in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ranger Technologies, Inc. and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from: your misuse of Protection Reports or services; false information provided during sign-up; or your violation of these Terms.

Termination

Either party may terminate the service relationship at any time. Upon termination:

Dispute Resolution

In the event of any dispute arising from these Terms or Ranger's services, the parties commit to the following:

Step 1: Good Faith Negotiation. Both parties will attempt to resolve the dispute through good faith negotiation within thirty (30) days of written notice.

Step 2: Binding Arbitration. If negotiation fails, any unresolved dispute shall be settled by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Commercial Arbitration Rules. Venue: San Francisco, California. Individual arbitration only — no class actions permitted.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
